A candidate for the post of the FFA president, former player
of the Armenia National Team, Aras Ozbiliz is sure if elected, he can greatly
benefit Armenian football.
“I know it will be difficult, but I have a good chance as I
feel that Armenian football fans support me. I think I work properly and believe
that I can greatly benefit Armenian football. I believe I can benefit our
country,” he said.
With reference to the rumors about Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s
return to the team, Ozbiliz said he would do his best to make sure that players
like Mkhitaryan stay in the team until the end of their career.
“I will be the first person to be happy if Henrikh comes
back. But if you are going to vote for me for Mkhitaryan to come back, you had
better not cast your vote for me. Our focus should be Armenian football, and
not Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s return,” Ozbiliz noted.
