The absence of the Armenian delegation from the CSTO
Parliamentary Assembly meeting will not affect the decision to develop a
unified air defense system. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin
said this to the press.
“Their physical absence does not greatly hinder other member
states in agreeing on collective documents. In many cases, Armenia signs these
documents as well,” he said.
