Earthquake on Armenian-Georgian border felt in Lori Province

At 3:40 a.m. local time on Jan. 4, an earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale occurred on the border between Armenia and Georgia, eight kilometers northeast of the town of Tashir. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.

In the epicenter, the earthquake measured 4-5 on the Richter scale.

It was also felt in Sarchapet, Norashen, Dzoramut, Metsavan and Saratovka villages of Lori Province and in the town of Tashir, registering a magnitude of 3.
