Strait of Hormuz closed again
In the wake of new US strikes, Iran’s armed forces have announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz to all vessels, Press TV reports.
“The Strait of Hormuz is completely closed to all types of vessels, including commercial ships,” the broadcaster reported, citing Iran’s Central Military Headquarters.
According to the headquarters’ statement, the strait is “closed to all vessels, including oil tankers and commercial ships, for security reasons.”
The Iranian military explained that the closure of the Strait of Hormuz is due to “hostile actions by the United States.”
