Araghchi says Iran decided to divide talks with US into 2 stages
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has stated that because of difficulties in reaching an understanding, and because of the attacks by the United States and the Israeli regime against Iran, the Islamic Republic decided to divide the negotiations with the US into two stages.
“In the first stage, the end of the war, the Strait of Hormuz, the release of Iran’s blocked funds, and reconstruction were discussed,” Araghchi said.
According to him, negotiations would continue for 60 days in order to reach a final agreement, in which the nuclear issue and the lifting of sanctions would be discussed.
