Trump says US will stop Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons within 2 weeks

US President Donald Trump has said the United States’ priority is to ensure that Iran is completely prevented from developing nuclear weapons.

“We have taken certain steps to prevent them from acquiring certain capabilities. Now we are fully committed to achieving that,” Trump said.

At the same time, the US president suggested that the operation against Iran could be completed within two weeks.

“If you look at it in a week and a half—not four weeks, but a week and a half or two weeks—you will see that we have prevented them from getting there,” he said.
