Iran’s IRGC says US, not Tehran, is violating Kuwait’s sovereignty
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has addressed the people of Kuwait, claiming that their country’s sovereignty is being violated not by Iran but by the United States, Al Jazeera writes.
Iran said its attacks are targeting US bases located in areas that are outside the control of Kuwaiti border forces and where Americans and people of other nationalities, including foreign prisoners, have unrestricted access.
“Therefore, it is America that has violated your territorial integrity and sovereignty, not us. We are attacking lands occupied by the US military, an army that knows nothing but crime,” the statement said.
