Zelensky expected to visit US, may meet with Trump

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky may travel to the United States on July 28, Deutsche Welle’s US correspondent Misha Komadovsky said in a post on X.

During the visit, Zelensky is expected to attend the funeral of Senator Lindsey Graham and may also meet with US President Donald Trump in Washington.

According to DW, the format of the potential meeting has not yet been finalized.

“A meeting with President Trump is also being arranged — officials are still finalizing the format, whether a sideline meeting at the funeral, a private sit-down, or an official White House visit,” Komadovsky writes.
