Pashinyan sends Independence Day greetings to Ukraine president

Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day, the Armenian Prime Minister’s Office has said.

In his message, Pashinyan wrote:

“I warmly congratulate you and the friendly people of Ukraine on the occasion of Ukraine’s national holiday, Independence Day.

The Republic of Armenia attaches great importance to the consistent development and expansion of our bilateral relations, which are based on shared values, historical ties and friendship.

I highly value your participation in the eighth summit of the European Political Community in Yerevan, which truly gave new impetus to our bilateral relations. I am confident that the candid discussions held during our meeting, as well as the consistent implementation of the agreements reached, will help strengthen mutual trust between our countries, expand economic and humanitarian ties, and fully realize the potential of our bilateral partnership for the benefit of both peoples.

Armenia firmly supports the establishment of a just and lasting peace in Ukraine and stands ready to continue providing humanitarian assistance to the Ukrainian people.

I wish you success, and the friendly people of Ukraine peace and resilience.”
