Armenian to be taught at Baku Slavic University

Armenian will be taught at Baku Slavic University starting from the 2026-2027 academic year, Azerbaijani media outlets reported, citing university spokesperson Sabina Huseynzade.

“According to a decision by the Academic Council of Baku Slavic University, the teaching of Armenian is planned for the coming years,” she said.

Earlier, university Rector Anar Nagiyev said the institution planned to begin teaching Armenian from the 2026-2027 academic year.
