Trump and Vance made statements on the Ukrainian issue

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he is ready to tighten sanctions against Russia at any moment if Washington and Moscow fail to reach an agreement on settling the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

The U.S. President explained that he has no intention of imposing additional sanctions for now, as Washington continues negotiations with Moscow.

The American leader also noted that the majority of his fellow Republicans understand the decision to hold off on new sanction measures for the time being.

U.S. Vice President JD Vance stated that Ukraine should not become a member of NATO.

"Ukraine is not in NATO. And I don’t think it should join the alliance," the American Vice President emphasized.
