A Black Hawk helicopter belonging to the Military Forces of Colombia crashed in the area of the military base not far from the town of Unguia in Chocó Department in the west of the country; four people have died as a result, Caracol reports.
Eight people were on board the helicopter.
The causes for the incident have not been reported. Members of the military arrived at the scene; search and rescue operations are underway.
