The Republic of Cyprus will open an embassy in Yerevan in the coming months. Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos said this at a joint press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
“I would like to highlight the importance of this development. This is certainly also a symbolic act, but it will also be a solid platform that will further strengthen and deepen the cooperation between the two countries,” Kombos said.
He noted that Cyprus strongly supports the deepening of relations between Armenia and the EU and the increase of the EU mission in Armenia.
