Storm in Moscow kills 2 people, injures 15
Two people have been killed and 15 have been injured in a storm in Moscow. As RIA Novosti writes, Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin reported this.
According to him, on Wednesday, the weather in Moscow changed radically; a storm broke, periodically reaching a speed of 21 meters per second.
“Winds gusted to 21 meters per second. We had taken every precaution in time. Major city parks and other open public spaces were promptly closed. There were danger warnings on the city’s billboards. But, unfortunately, we incurred casualties. Two of the 17 victims have died,” Sobyanin wrote on Telegram.
