Earthquake 4.7 happens in east of Turkey
An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale occurred in Turkey’s Tokat Province, Milliyet newspaper writes, referring to the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).
According to the newspaper, the earthquake caused panic among the population, and educational institutions have been closed for a day.
The earthquake occurred at 1:07 a.m. local time on April 18, at a depth of 10 kilometers.
There have been no reports of victims.
