We have always perceived this tragedy as our own sorrow and grief. Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said this at a press briefing, talking about the Armenian Genocide.

“This grievous date has huge historical, spiritual, moral and political significance for our ally Armenia, the friendly Armenian people and the multi-million Armenian diaspora in Russia,” Zakharova said.
