The Chamber of Deputies of the National Congress of Chile has adopted a resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide committed by the Ottoman Empire.
Today, Turkey protested against the resolution, saying that it “has no legal force, as parliaments are not authorized to make remarks about events that took place throughout history”.
