Garnik Danielyan: Since Archbishop Bagrat entered Kirants, threats have been made against police officers

Since I entered the village of Kirants in Tavush Province, the police in Tavush have been uneasy. They summon police officers to the police department one by one to find out how I ended up in Kirants. Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, the primate of the Diocese of Tavush, said this when recapping the day.

“Gentlemen, policemen, stay calm and don’t oppress people. There are two ways to enter Kirants: one is to go with the wings of an angel, and the other is to go accompanied by the police. You decide how I went there,” Archbishop Bagrat said.

MP Garnik Danielyan from the opposing NA Armenia Alliance also touched on this issue during his speech.

“They utter threats against the police officers. Their superior had ordered them not to allow Archbishop Bagrat to enter Kirants. In fact, this order was not carried out, which unnerved the regime,” Garnik Danielyan said.
