Yesterday was the last day of registration of candidates for Iran’s upcoming presidential election. In total, 81 candidates registered for the election, the Iranian media reports. The Guardian Council will process the qualifications of the candidates for seven days.
The Egyptian government has resigned. President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi instructed Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly to form a new cabinet. On June 3, the Egyptian president received Madbouly, who submitted the cabinet’s resignation to the president.
