Five people were injured Saturday in a shooting in rural Laurel County, Kentucky, the Kentucky Sheriff’s Office says.
All five victims are in stable condition, and authorities are searching for one suspect.
The shooting occurred about nine miles north of London, where “multiple people were shot”, the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office said. It later turned out that a fire had been opened on nine vehicles on both the interstate northbound and southbound lanes. All five people received gunshot wounds.
The London Police Department suspects 32-year-old Joseph A. Couch, who is considered “armed and dangerous”.
