Iranian Majles deputy Mohammad Reza Sabaghian has called for a review of Iran’s nuclear and defense doctrine after Israel’s attacks, Mehr news agency reports.
“In response to the aggression of the Zionist regime and the United States, we must consider the potential of the defensive weapons acquired by these aggressors, and the defense and nuclear doctrine of our country must be reviewed,” the deputy said.
Iran is sure that Israel’s “cowardly aggression” was carried out with the support of the U.S. and Europe. On the night of Oct. 26, Israel struck Iranian military facilities in response to its massive attack on Oct. 1. The country’s armed forces announced attacks on Iranian enterprises, including missile production facilities and air defense systems.
