International Court of Justice rejects Baku’s preliminary objections in Armenia v. Azerbaijan case

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has rejected two preliminary objections presented by Baku in the Armenia v. Azerbaijan case.

Three years ago, in September, Armenia brought proceedings against Azerbaijan for violations of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.

Last April, Azerbaijan submitted its preliminary objections.
