Bashar al-Assad arrives in Moscow with family members after Russia grants asylum

Former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has arrived in Moscow with family members, RIA Novosti writes, citing sources of Vesti Nedeli news outlet.

At the same time, a Kremlin source of RIA Novosti says that Russia has granted asylum to Assad and his family based on humanitarian considerations.
