Trump: The US will soon get the Gaza Strip

U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that there is no sense in purchasing the Gaza Strip, as it is territory acquired through war.

“We will take it, hold it, protect it, and ultimately establish life there. Many jobs will be created there for the people of the Middle East,” he said, adding that the Gaza Strip could become the “jewel” of the region.

Trump noted that hotels and a resort area could be established in the Palestinian enclave.

To remind, the U.S. administration is negotiating the resettlement of Palestinians in Jordan and Egypt.
