Civil Contract party boycotts Gyumri Council of Elders 1st session

The first session of the Council of Elders has commenced in Gyumri. The Civil Contract party boycotted the meeting.

“Your child and you personally will bear the consequences of your wrong action, no matter how much you try to avoid that responsibility. For Gyumri and the people of Gyumri, we must push for new, snap elections,” Sarik Minasyan, who leads the electoral list of the Civil Contract party, said.

Although the Civil Contract party boycotted the session, it is now under way, led by opposition member Vardan Ghukasyan, who secured the majority of the vote.
