World War III won’t start over Ukraine, says Trump

At a White House press briefing, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he would not allow Russia’s war against Ukraine to escalate into a global conflict.

“I think it could lead to a Third World War, but it won’t,” Trump said.

The former president blamed Joe Biden for the outbreak of large-scale war in Ukraine, citing what he called poor policy decisions.

“Ukraine was at the center of Putin’s attention, but he would never have done this on his own. It happened because several really bad decisions were made,” Trump said, adding that there was confusion around the issue after he took office.

According to Trump, he is doing everything possible to end the war and save lives.
