Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is ready for both defensive and offensive operations, TASS writes, quoting him.
“We are ready for both defense and attack. We are striking our enemies, and we are determined to defend ourselves,” Netanyahu said during a meeting with IDF recruits.
The aggravation of the situation in the Middle East began after the assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran. Haniyeh was in Iran to attend the inauguration ceremony of the country’s newly elected president, Masoud Pezeshkian.
