The newly appointed foreign minister of France, Jean-Noël Barrot, said at the event dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of Armenia’s independence at the Armenian Embassy in France that the forced deportation of Armenians from Artsakh began a year ago.
“France does not forget anything and will not concede either the right of return of Armenians or the protection of cultural and religious heritage,” the French foreign minister said.
