Israel has the right to defend itself, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in an interview with The Times of Israel.
“We believe that diplomacy is the best way, but we need to contact Israel for its further activities,” the White House press secretary said, noting that only military measures will not be enough to restore security in the northern or southern border towns of Israel.
