Mkhitar Galeyan’s father, Garik Galeyan, whose house arrest term was extended yesterday, is not allowed to visit his son’s grave. Galeyan’s wife, Astgh Galeyan said this to ABC Media.
“There is a phone ban; he is not allowed to give interviews. A ban has been put on all means of communication. He is not allowed to use anything. They didn’t even let him visit Mkhitar’s grave. They obey the orders that have come from the higher-ups,” Astgh Galeyan said.
She noted that Garik Galeyan has health issues. He often faces blood pressure fluctuations.
To remind, Garik Galeyan was remanded in custody on charges of hooliganism and drug possession. Some time after the court decision was announced, the measure of restraint imposed on Galeyan was replaced with house arrest on account of his health condition. The house arrest term was extended for two months yesterday.
