ARF Bureau representative: Despite the severe loss, we do not have the right to lose heart; the struggle will go on

ARF Bureau Representative Hagop Der-Khatchadourian made a
statement on the arrest of Former State Minister of Artsakh Ruben Vardanyan and
that of Former Foreign Minister of Artsakh Davit Babayan.

“We demand that the Armenian authorities and the
international community immediately take every legal, political and diplomatic action
to secure the release of all the detainees from Artsakh. We, in turn, will make
our best efforts to make sure that international human rights organizations,
officials, politicians and individuals from various countries exert pressure on
Azerbaijan,” he said.

The Bureau representative noted that arresting Artsakh
leaders and freedom fighters is a common practice used by Azerbaijan, which is
criminal and must be immediately countered.

“Despite the severe loss that our nation has suffered, we do
not have the right to give up and to lose heart. The struggle will go on,” he
noted.
