Kaja Kallas: The EU must support Ukraine so it can survive the winter

EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas has urged European countries to increase military support for Kyiv.

"The situation is indeed very difficult. We need to support Ukraine so it can survive the winter, as the winter will be harsh," Kallas said before the start of the second day of the EU summit in Brussels. According to her, Ukraine primarily needs additional air defense systems.

She added that the European Union is not capable of replacing the American Starlink satellite system for Ukraine in the near future.
