The people of Artsakh must have one agenda: to live and
struggle in Artsakh. Adviser to the Artsakh State Minister Artak Beglaryan made
a Facebook post on this.
“I just ask, urge and even demand that no one fall for the
idea of “the mass exodus of the people of Artsakh”, which has been put on the
agenda by a number of Azerbaijani and other international forces. I should
demand that such calls not be issued. It can in no way help the situation. It
is nothing but an escape from our homeland and collective, social and
individual responsibility toward the previous, current and future generations,”
he wrote.
Beglaryan noted that the major goal of Azerbaijan’s
genocidal authorities is to push us into a mass exodus — paying as small a
price for that as possible — and to hold us responsible for that.
“The people of Artsakh must have one agenda: to live and
struggle in Artsakh, as our ancestors did. Everyone has the right to decide
their own fate. Whoever wants to leave, they are free to leave. However, those
leaving should in no way encourage others to leave. However desperate the
situation will be, we can always find solutions to carry on our struggle for
freedom and dignity,” he wrote.
