The 2nd stage of the opening for the position of the
director of the Armenian National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet after A.
Spendiaryan came to an end today. Karen Durgaryan was announced winner.
In fact, Lilit Petrosyan and Karen Durgaryan had entered the
2nd stage. Karen Durgaryan also used to be the acting director.
Spokesperson for the RA MoESCS told ABC Media that both
candidates had successfully passed through the interview stage. However, voting
results came in favor of Karen Durgaryan. As a matter of fact, Durgaryan got 80
votes, and Lilit Petrosyan 59 votes.
The ministry noted that Durgaryan will be officially
appointed to the post within three working days.
