Midday home renovation work banned in Russia
Residents of apartment buildings in Russia can now be fined up to 80,000 rubles for carrying out noisy renovation work during midday lunch hours, RIA Novosti writes.
A designated quiet period has been set from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
There are also exceptions: residents are allowed to carry out renovation work in newly commissioned buildings within one and a half years of their completion.
