Kallas says Europe must understand how to respond to Russia’s actions
Before discussing possible negotiations with Russia, EU member states must develop a common position, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas told reporters.
“Before discussing the situation with Russia, we must first reach an agreement among ourselves on what exactly we want to discuss with them,” she said.
According to Kallas, the EU’s main objective is to ensure peace and stability in Europe.
“This is about European security. Russia constantly attacks its neighbors, and we must understand how we can respond,” she stated.
Kallas stated that the EU’s demands and conditions toward Russia are still being discussed from the perspective of ensuring peace in Europe.
