Azerbaijani consul dies in Iran

Ramil Imranov, a consul at the Azerbaijani Consulate General in the Iranian city of Tabriz, has died in a traffic accident.

According to Azerbaijan’s foreign ministry, the accident occurred on the Julfa–Tabriz highway near the city of Marand. The diplomat was on duty and was driving the vehicle involved in the crash.
