Ararat Mirzoyan says Armenia and US begin cooperation in critical minerals sector

Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has said that Armenia and the United States are beginning cooperation in a completely new area, referring to a recently signed framework memorandum on ensuring supply in the field of extraction and processing of key minerals and rare earths.

Mirzoyan made the statement following the visit of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Armenia.

“I must say with pride that Armenia currently has a truly historic opportunity to appear on these new supply routes and to become one of the key hubs of these logistics routes,” he said.
