Russia to build nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan as leaders sign key agreements

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed a package of joint documents.

The package also includes a document outlining the seven pillars of the strategic alliance between Russia and Kazakhstan.

Russia and Kazakhstan also signed an agreement on the construction of a nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan.

“The construction of a nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan by Russia has created an entire industry in the country,” Putin said.
