Hegseth says US ready to restart attacks on Iran
The US is ready to restart attacks on Iran if a deal cannot be reached, Reuters writes, citing US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
He noted that Washington is capable of acting on multiple fronts simultaneously while also strengthening its defense industrial base.
The Pentagon chief said President Donald Trump wants to make a “great deal” that ensures Iran does not get a nuclear weapon.
Hegseth also assured that US military stockpiles are fully sufficient for any scenario and that Washington is not neglecting the Asia-Pacific region despite being engaged in conflict with Iran.
