Voter detained immediately after casting ballot, opposition alliance says

An “urgent report” has been received that a voter was detained in Debetavan village immediately after casting their ballot, Artsvik Minasyan, a parliamentary candidate from the Armenia Alliance, said at a press briefing today.

“It’s good that at least he managed to vote,” Saghatelyan said. “Debetavan is a village where the alliance received 51% of the vote in 2021. They are paying special and close attention to those villages and polling stations where we secured high results in 2021.”
