Shanghai Grand Opera House ready to open

The Shanghai Grand Opera House is ready to open after six years of construction, China Daily writes.

The house, located in Pudong New Area at the riverside of Huangpu River, features a spiral staircase in the shape of a Chinese fan and three major performing venues, namely Open Stage, Soar Theatre and Harmony Hall.
