Trump says he was the best president in Israel’s history

In an interview with CNBC, US President Donald Trump has described himself as the best president in Israel’s history.

“I was the best president in Israel’s history,” Trump stated.

The statement comes amid tensions in relations between Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as disagreements over Lebanon following the establishment of a ceasefire in Iran. The US president acknowledged that he and Netanyahu do, in fact, have differences on several issues.

The White House leader also said he would like to see a “more targeted strike” against Hezbollah. He expressed US readiness to assist in this regard.
