Lavrov says he will meet Rubio on Thursday

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said his meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will take place on Thursday morning, TASS reports.

Speaking at a press conference following the Russia–ASEAN meeting, Lavrov said he and Rubio had confirmed the timing of their upcoming talks during a reception on Wednesday.

“Yesterday, we had a brief meeting with Marco Rubio during the reception and confirmed that our meeting will take place tomorrow morning,” Lavrov said.
