Lukashenko congratulates Armenia: “When the world faces serious challenges, time-tested friendly ties become especially valuable”

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated the people of Armenia on their national holiday—Independence Day—on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself.

“This significant milestone—the 35th anniversary of gaining sovereignty—symbolizes the Armenian people’s aspiration for free and independent development and the preservation of their rich culture,” the congratulatory message reads.

The Belarusian leader noted that today, when the world faces serious challenges, time-tested friendly ties become especially valuable. “Minsk and Yerevan are united not only by shared pages of history, but also by sincere mutual sympathy among people, which serves as a solid foundation for an open and constructive partnership,” he emphasized.

Alexander Lukashenko wished the people of Armenia stability and confidence in the future. “May harmony and joy reign in every home,” the Belarusian leader added.
