In February, 36 women were killed in Turkey. The We Will Stop Femicides Platform said this in a report. Ten women were killed by their husbands, seven by the men they were in a relationship with, another seven by the men with whom they had been in a relationship in the past, and seven by their relatives: three by their sons and four by fathers. The motives behind 12 of these murders have not been established yet, while the other 17 women were killed because of their wish to break up.
