Menua Soghomonyan: If we are together, it will all work out for the best

We are able to turn our collective, united will into capacity, Member of the Hayakve initiative Menua Soghomonyan told ABC media.

“No one wants to be humiliated; everyone wants to have a strong state, a decent society; everyone wants the return of Artsakh, but people are left alone, in apathy, not believing in success. There is a need for many people to come out, to look into each other’s eyes and see how many people there are who want the same thing, so that people will feel each other’s strength and be filled with determination. I am convinced that this unique movement will turn the collective will of the Armenian people into a capacity; thus, we will be strong,” Soghomonyan said, adding that the foundations of a dignified and thriving state will be laid.

“This is going to take us a long time; it requires great effort and dedication. It demands commitment beyond family, friends, colleagues, so that everyone puts aside their personal lives and careers. In that case, the path will be difficult and long, of course, but it will definitely succeed. This is going to be the beginning; through this march, through this movement, we will tell our compatriots that if we are all together, it will all work out for the best. Our nation has proven that they can do miracles, and I believe in those miracles,” he said.
