Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says 41 people have been killed in a Russian missile attack on the Ukrainian city of Poltava, the BBC writes.

Another 180 were wounded, the president says.

The preliminary report suggests two missiles hit an “educational institution” and a hospital, he added․

Unconfirmed reports say a military training center was one of the buildings hit․

Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense says people were hit while heading to bomb shelters, shortly after an air raid siren.
