Iran’s supreme leader rejects US proposal for nuclear talks

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has rejected the U.S. proposal for negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program.

According to Khamenei, the persistent calls for talks from certain “aggressive governments” are not aimed at resolving issues, but rather at imposing their own views and dominance.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran will not fulfill their expectations,” Khamenei stated during a meeting attended by the president, the speaker of parliament, and other high-ranking officials.
