3rd round of nuclear talks between Iran and US ends in Oman
The third round of nuclear talks between Iran and the United States has concluded in Oman. The talks will continue next week, with another high-level meeting scheduled for May 3, Reuters reports.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff held a third round of the talks in Muscat through Omani mediators for around six hours, a week after a second round in Rome that both sides described as constructive.
Prior to the meeting of the chief negotiators, indirect expert-level talks were held in Muscat to develop the framework for a potential nuclear agreement.
